Biography
Joanne joined the University in July 2004 as a Newcastle University graduate, in a technician role supporting a large research group working on various projects utilising proteomics techniques and mass spectrometry.
In 2014 Joanne transferred technical fields, moving to the Bioimaging Light Microscopy facility within the Department of Biosciences, developing an enthusiasm for microscopes. Joanne now works in partnership with the Head of Bioimaging providing specialist technical expertise and support to facilitate teaching, learning, research and knowledge exchange utilising microscopy and image analysis.
