Biography

I am a PhD student in Professor Stefan Przyborski’s lab. My project investigates human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) for developing functional tissue derivatives, with a focus on stem cell-derived human skin. The use of hPSCs offers great potential for such research by providing a renewable source of cells to bioengineer robust and reproducible human skin tissue constructs, which could replace the need for primary donor cells.

I completed a BSc in Biomedical Science and MSc in Cell and Tissue Engineering at Keele University, where I developed an interest in stem cells, tissue engineering and their applications in regenerative medicine.
