Join us for a half-day event focused on Planetary Health, the science and practice of safeguarding human health by protecting the Earth’s natural systems. This workshop will bring together academics from across Durham University to explore the health and environment intersection and foster interdisciplinary collaboration.

Planetary health spans ecological, sociological, and anthropological dimensions (and many more!), offering opportunities for innovative research and policy impact. With Durham’s recent membership in the Planetary Health Alliance, this is the perfect moment to connect expertise across disciplines build on our Health@Durham, Sustainability and Biodiversity strategies and shape a stronger narrative for our research.
