On 19-20 May 2025, Durham Law School hosted the International Conference on AI and IP, organised by Associate Professor Dr Angelia Jia Wang. The event brought together leading experts to explore the intersection of artificial intelligence and intellectual property law.

On 14 March 2025, Durham Law School welcomed alumnus Sam Turton, a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney at Secerna LLP, to deliver a guest lecture, arranged by Associate Professor Dr Angelia Jia Wang, titled “Careers in Intellectual Property Law” to LLB and LLM students.

On Friday, 7 March 2025, the Centre for Chinese Law and Policy at Durham Law School hosted an event titled "From Local to Global: Careers in Transnational Chinese Law".
