We are internationally recognised across several key research clusters including Public Law and Human Rights, Commercial and Corporate Law, EU and International Law, Biolaw and Chinese Law.

We are home to eleven research groups. They build critical mass in key research areas through a highly active programme of events and collaborations. 

Our teaching is award-winning, passionate and research-led. We bring the latest insights from our scholarship and policy work directly into the classroom. We are committed to small-group teaching through seminars and tutorials. Our intellectual community includes an international body of academic staff working alongside a vibrant cohort of postgraduate research students.
